Case One
Electronics Distribution Company with a head office and
distribution centre with fifty workstations, a separate
office fifty miles away, six home workers and twelve salesman
covering Europe with four Directors who needed 24/7 access
to the companies system.
We provided:-
- 2mbs SDSL with managed firewall at the head office for
inbound VPN (virtual private network) connections and
outgoing web browsing with fixed IP addressing
- 8 mbs Max performance ADSL with managed firewall with
fixed IP addressing at the head office for incoming and
outgoing email and as a fall back in the event of primary
ADSL failure
- 128kbs multilinked ISDN as a fall back in the event
of total loss of ADSL using fixed IP addressing and an
auto switch router utilising an 'on demand' dial up connection.
- 8mbs Max Performance ADSL for the remote office with
a managed firewall configured as a VPN tunnel to the head
office.
- Six home ADSL connections with VPN and fixed IP addressing
support for home workers.
- Sixteen I-Pass accounts with VPN for remote salesman
and Directors

Case Two
Local Government agency with two locations
two hundred miles apart which require fully integrated operation
and remote support for four external employees. Extensive
on line service which required dynamic data to be available
24/7
We provided:-
- 2mbs SDSL with managed firewall including VPN interface
- Dedicated, hardwired 2mbs IP data link between offices
- Integrated voice over IP telephone system between both
offices, sharing with data across the link
- Ten dedicated, fixed dial up accounts with VPN clients
- Managed server Co-hosting in Slough Data Centre using
two servers and load balancing
